The sanctuary recognises that certain communities, including ethnic minorities, individuals from low-income backgrounds, and those with disabilities, often lack visibility in the artistic world. This lack of representation not only diminishes the diversity of artistic voices but also limits the potential for these groups to contribute to and benefit from the arts.  A key aspect of Aurora Arts Sanctuary’s mission is to create accessible pathways into the arts for those who have historically been excluded. Through targeted initiatives, the sanctuary remove the barriers that prevent under-represented individuals from engaging with the arts.
